those are awesome....I had a set for my yugo before I sold it, have "Zile" carved into the wood. The friend that bought it then went and filled in, sanded and refinished the wood....a darn shame I will add.

There's a bit of history that's gone now....

Default My Ever Growing AK Family

2010-02-08 00.11.17.jpg

Here's a picture of the ever growing family. There's another one due this week

2010-02-08 00.11.36.jpg
This one's a Polish kit built by Lancaster Arms. When I bought it I was told it was a model 3060, but I understood those to be Romy G kits...anyhow, it doesn't matter. It's awesome in every way. Photo's cannot do the finish any justice.

2010-02-08 00.11.51.jpg
This is a Bulgarian AKS-74 built by Henderson Defense. I added the Kobra Optic, polished the bolt carrier, and put on the ergo grip. I dont like to trick out AK's all that much, but I have to admit, these grips are much more comfortable for my generally non-gloved American sized hands.

Here's a Romanian Draco Pistol, from Century. I polished the bolt, swapped the grip, mounted the sling, refinished the wood, and set the muzzle threads free to install the Krink style cone brake. These guns are utterly useless in every way, but this one's proven to be as accurate as possible and it just keeps rockin and rollin no matter what.

This one is perhaps my favorite. It's a Yugo M70B1. I have no idea who built it originally. I refinished the wood, swapped the grip, and that's it. It's built on the 1.5mm DCI receiver and has the original Yugo barrel, that's actually still in good shape. It's the most accurate AK-47 I've ever fired, I absolutely love this gun.

So that's my family for now. I've got a Lancaster Rough Rider '74 on the way--we'll see how it works out.

I have a 1983 Oval 11 Radom as well! Whod've thought. It's pictured in the post above, I won't waste bandwidth posting it again so soon after.
