Default German MG34

Well its not Russian or Soviet... but its pretty neat.

This is a TNW semi auto version of the Nazi era MG-34, one of the most beautiful machine-guns ever made in my opinion. All milled it was expensive to make, and was superseded by the stamped and thus less expensive, MG 42 only eight years later. Chambered in 8x57mm Mauser it was quite powerful. Belt fed but this one has the rare P34 75 round saddle drum. A lot of fun...

Damn dude, those can't be cheap! I don't know what would be worse, buying the gun or the 8mm to feed it....even in semi-auto.

Didn't the MG34 have a trigger for semi-auto fire as well?

Well, that is a very cool 4,700 dollars. Most certainly to turn some heads at the range!

Oh yeah, it does that. In fact they come over want to shoot it, ask questions and you frequently don't get around to shooting it... lol

LMAO! I hate it when stuff like that happens. I don't try to be "snobby" at the range, but I tend to keep to myself because I am there to shoot, not chit-chat. I swear some guys spend more time standing around and shooting the crap than they do shooting the bullets.

Yeah. I don't bother people when they are shooting... but the unique stuff I take out will often draw people's interest and conversation.

There is a decent article on the MG34, in the latest issue of Military Surplus magazine. I think it was too good of a GPMG to be honest. I mean, the MG42 was good, but this MG34 had class.
