Default Luger and Walther PPK

Recent acquisitions for the collection from WWII.


1937 production Mauser Luger in 9x19 mm

Walther PPK in 7.65mm (.32acp) wartime, dural frame.

Damn! Nice! There is a younger guy I work with, his name is Seth and he is on this site as a member, but he is getting into WWII collecting, and would crap if he saw your latest!

I have shot nothing but FMJ in them as that is what they were designed for. You have to remember hollow point ammo is a relatively recent thing. These guns were made in 1937 and a bit after 1940, no point in using defensive ammo in relics that won't be employed as fighting arms now.

True. I picked this up today:

It's no collectable, but it will digest hollow points...lol. I like Kahr pistols.

Its getting harder to find nice older stuff. I did find a nice Winchester 24 12 gauge on Saturday in Dayton, first year production at that. Serial number below 5000. This one would have been made in 1939. I have not taken any photos yet.



I have a number of Kahrs, they are indeed handy. Accurate and flat. I don't have a CT9 though...
