Default Nagant Problem

To cut to the chase, I cracked into the revolver to clean the inside, and this V shaped spring or something fell out from behind the trigger, now, the revolver does not function properly. The gun's double action does not work now. There are some instances where it does, and some times, you have to hold the trigger about halfway and cock it in single action.

What is going on with my Nagant?

Reminds me of when I lost the trigger pin for my M91/30.

I know the V-shaped spring controls the trigger and the hammer, but that's it.

I'm going to guess that you took it apart and put it back together, but a video always helps:

I must admit, being handy only to a point, I usually avoid to much tear-down on my guns.
