Default UTG AK-47 Forend Rail Furniture

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/520...an-ak-47-matte

Has anyone installed one of these on their AK? If so how did it go, and how do you like it? I'm hearing the only issue with them is they can cause the gas tube to bind up. They give you a spacer that goes in between the barrel and the gas tube that supposedly prevents this.

It seems like a nice rail for the money, and I was just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with installing and running one. The reason I ask is because I was thinking of getting one for my Romanian GP-1975 with black plastic furniture.

they're a bit heavy. Never used one because they won't hold a true zero with an optic. They are sturdy though.
