Default Man At Arms magazine, detailed article on Type 59

Just received the latest issue of Man At Arms magazine, this NRA publication can be found at Barnes and Noble and other major book stores. The latest issue has the Chinese Type 59 Makarov on the cover and a very good article on the pistols.

I have two of them. One I bought new in the box back in the 90s the other much later.

Here is my first ZZ code Chinese Type 59 in her original box. I have added another since I took this photo.

Yep, they're nice and I love my Chinese Mak; just wish I could nab a copy of that magazine. http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/...2059%20Mak.jpg

You might have to check your nearest large book retailer. I know Barnes and Noble used to carry it and still might.

I just picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble a few days ago. You should find it there.

The very first ones that came into the country are very nice. The late ones just before Clinton banned Chinese arms from coming in sometimes needed additional work to make them shootable. The actions were rough on the late ones, horrid pulls.
