s I said earlier "The factory is a 24# spring! I bought a 19# from Wolff though I’ve yet to install it."

Well I still haven't cause I'm happy with it now and too darn lazy. It does need the new spring though.

Ken
the first thing I tell the guys on the P-64 forum is make sure you clean the gun before you ever shoot it , 95 % of the problems with the P-64 are because the gun is not clean, do not use anything over a 95 grn bullet in these guns, and its a military gun not designed for hp bullets, without polishing the feed ramp, and do not shoot wolf ammo in it unless you want a paper weight
, and there are no parts for these guns

Hiya Norm,

I didn't realize you were a member here.

Yep I know and I followed the instructions....I have plugged the P-64 forum to any and all owners, a good place with the best info on the pistol on the net.

Thanks again.

This P-64 runs like a Swiss watch now...and I didn't install the hammer spring yet.

Of course that's a whopping 10 minute job and I'm just sooooo busy...LOL

The p-64 is an excellent pistol, very reliable as is from the factory, the first da trigger pull is hellish but easily fixed with proper training.
