Default 7.62x54r is now $175 for a can?

Looking online for 7.62x54r ammo. The stuff went way up!!! I remember the days of $96 for a can of 440. Now its $175+ for the same can. At this point it is almost worth it to spend the extra $20 and get the new non-corrosive FedArm stuff and not worry about corrosion.

Yep, unfortunately that seems to be the going price lately...

I always suspected it would go up in price, much like the price of Mosins. Gone are the days of $99 rifles and $99 tins of ammo!

Not only that, but up until about a year ago, you could find a Mosin just about anywhere...not anymore, at least around my area. They either dried up, or another "secret EO" from the moron in chief.

Went to a fairly big gun show (800 tables) today here in San Antonio and saw plenty of Mosins, although they now go for $150-175 for a 91/30 which were running $99 a few years ago. I mentioned the increase in ammo prices to one of the vendors who regularly carry them, and he said it was because "no one makes 7.62x54R anymore!" I can neither confirm or deny that!
