Default 7.62x39 suggestions

So I am dropping an order tonight for some x39 ammo. So what I have found for non corrosive hollow point is brown silver and gold bear. Is there really much of a difference between them??? Is it enough of a difference to pay an extra $30 per case?

they also have some Tulammo but I have noticed a huge loss in accuracy with Tulammo vs Wolf even though they are supposedly the same company. But my targets say otherwise. at 100yrds I get a 2 inch group with wolf. with Tulammo I get 6 inch groups at the same distance.

Tul and Wolf aren't the same company. Wolf is American, Tul is Russian.

The three bears are made by Barnual and are named for the coating on the steel cases. Brown is lacquered, Silver is zinc, and Golden is copper washed or brass plated and sometimes brass cased depending on the calibre. Pick your poison....they are all the same loads. Lacquered stores better, long term. Zinc is cleaner, copper lubes....

As E said, pick your poison it's mostly a matter of personal choice. I like the Wolf Polyformance, Silver Bear, and Golden Bear but do have something of a personal liking for Golden Tiger for both quality and cost..........

Yeah, the only thing I don't like about Brown Bear, is the anti-corrosion coating they put on the rounds.

Lacquered stores better than zinc? Did not know that.

However, I did assume that zinc would run cleaner than lacquered, so I stocked up on a lot of that for my 5.45 ar.
