Default Hogue Overmolded Grips?

I have a P-83 that I would like to put the rubber over molded grips on...the kind that just slip on, but I have searched all over and cannot find what size to order. Does any one of you guys own a P-83 with these slip-on grips on the gun? If so, please let me know what size you went with. Thanks!

Yeah, it has a bigger grip than the P-64.

ok so I got curious and searched the net a bit.....it seems that the universal handall which is for medium to large guns should work. Do some tooling around on your own before you order. But I did see a few folks running this setup. Hope this helps.

Thanks buddy. I kinda saw the same thing, but am going to do some measuring on the grip to see what I come up with. I think your right though, and will more than likely go with the handall.

Well, that would be a one size fits all...depending on how you cut it. Thanks for the response!

Well, went to the local GM, and they had another P-83 on their shelves. I used it to find a grip sleeve that fit like a glove. I ended with a set from Pachmayr, part number 05160. They don't seem to have them sized by a numeric system, but on the front of the package, it says for Beretta 92F/FS and M9. Says it will also fit the Beretta PX4 Storm, Taurus models 92/99/100 and 101.

If anyone with a Polish P-83 is looking for a set of grip sleeves that fit the gun well, then I recommend these from Pachmayr. Thanks for the input and help from my fellow Soviet Steel members!

Glad you found one. I will tell you that it improved my shooting experience quite a bit after it was installed. Now that you mention it....when I was searching on Midway...in the side bar it suggested the Pachmyr variety. It looked pretty decent.

Yeah. I have large hands, but if someone did not, I think the only drawback to the slip on grips for this pistol would be that it would make the grips too fat. Haven't had a chance to go to the range to see if they stay put while shooting, too much working overtime, but will get there soon.
